You can reach the Riverwalk Chicago from Upper Wacker. For the most impressive entrance, walk to the iconic bridge entry at the Boardwalk. It's surrounded by floating gardens and greenery. You'll also find wheelchair-friendly ramps on the east side of State Street, the west side of Clark Street, and the west side of Franklin.
  • What restaurants are located on the Riverwalk?

Waterfront restaurants line the Riverwalk from Clark Street to east of Michigan Avenue. Eat Chicago hot dogs at Lillie's, burgers at O'Brien's, and cheese and charcuterie at City Winery. Cool off with gelato from Frost or with a craft beer at Tiny Tapp. Turn it up at Island Party Hut with Tiki cocktails and grilled meats. Many restaurants are open seasonally and are weather dependent, so call before you go.
